About the event

Bob Hagen is a retired law enforcement professional who transitioned into a fulfilling second career in mental health advocacy. After serving 33 years in law enforcement, culminating in the role of Captain for the City of Delafield Police Department, Bob retired in 2022 and almost immediately joined NAMI Southeast WI. In the current role as the Program Director, Crisis Training, Bob oversees CIT, CIP, and other crisis-related training programs for the organization. The journey with NAMI began in 2005 when Bob attended CIT training in Appleton, Wisconsin. This experience introduced Bob to NAMI and led to involvement with NAMI Waukesha, where Bob served on the board of directors for five years, including two years as board president. These roles prepared Bob for an exciting second career after retirement from law enforcement.
